Assumptions: pip is installed
Haha, this may be the shortest one ive written so far. Simply this is about installing pyvmomi, the Python SDK for the VMware vSphere API that allows you to manage things like ESXi and vcenter. Ill be doing this in ubuntu as that is generally been my control host for ansible.
pip install pyvmomi
When you are done, you can run
pip show pyvmomi to show the version installed. One thing to be cognizant of, is where you see version, which should match the base of at least the version of vsphere, whose API you are going to want to consume, in this case 6.7.
