It’s the Little Stuff – Add Local Certificates in Life Cycle Manager

Here is just another quick blog that I’ve added to the little stuff. This one is about adding local certificates to lifecycle manager. This example will be done in lifecycle manager 8.1. When you log into lifecycle manager and come to the main My services page, from there you will go to the locker, the from the left menu, to certificates.

From that initial menu under certificates I will select generate. This will bring up the quick menu to simply input the information that you require. For the example you see below I created a local certificate for log insight. I will link this article to the log insight deployment as well.

Next and very straightforward just hit generate to create the certificate. As you note you have two other options to generate a CSR and to import a certificate. I will go over generating and importing a certificate from a certificate authority in another little stuff article. Thanks for stopping by.
